Location: Newark, USA Delegates attending this course will benefit from an introductory overview of the terminology and classification of cancer and principle issues in its treatment. Commonly available anti-cancer drugs will be reviewed, particularly in relation to mode of action, dose intensity and chemotherapy regimes. This will lead on to a detailed study of the range of side effects commonly and uncommonly experienced by cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Quality of life issues will also be discussed in terms of overall assessment and interpretation of results. | ||
