Fondazione Parco Biomedico San Raffaele and Centro di ricerca per la sperimentazione clinica (CRISC) have signed a collaboration for the creation of a pre-clinical to clinical trial platform in the Lazio (Italy) region to foster the development and validation of new diagnostics and therapeutics.
For the foundation this represents a significant step forward in its strategy to raise all of its activities to the highest possible standards. The installation of the ‘easy life supply centre’ will permit the foundation to streamline its financial and administrative management while offering a higher quality service to its onsite scientists and tenants. This will lay the base to permit all ongoing and future projects to be managed with greater ease and speed with augmented quality.
Fondazione Parco Biomedico San Raffaele to participate in a Europe wide project on developing new approaches to prevent and treat congestive heart failure through analysis of the genomics of signalling. The EUGeneHeart project is a 14 million€, 5 year project with 21 partners from 10 different European countries working in both academia and industry. The goal of this project to develop new strategies to prevent and treat heart failure by understanding the genetic basis of signalling subsequent to increased myocardial load in hypertrophy and heart failure.
